VOC Emissions Exposed!

Below are some clips from the infrared imaging that Senator Inhofe has attacked. You can clearly see how, in visible light, volatile organic compound emissions (which react with sunlight to form ozone) are invisible. Yet using the infrared technology, the emissions look like billowing smoke from the condensate tanks. These images were taken by the state and EPA at a gas well in Weld County last June.
