We Need Your Support!

Rocky Mountain Clean Air Action needs your support.

Rocky Mountain Clean Air Action is a leading advocacy group working to protect clean air for healthy children and healthy communities in Colorado and the surrounding region. However, as a nonprofit organization, we rely solely on donations from our members to sustain our work.

If you haven't joined, become a member today and consider giving a modest donation. Your support will help us continue to tackle smog pollution in the Denver metro area, hold the oil and gas industry accountable to clean air, and clean up smokestacks at cement plants and coal burning power plants.

Most importantly, your support will make a difference for the health of our children and our communities. What a deal! Join online today in seconds, just click here >>

A Boost for Clean Air in the Metro Area

Back in March, Rocky Mountain Clean Air Action and Natural Resources Defense Council put Kerr-McGee on notice that the oil and gas company was utterly failing to keep smog forming pollution in check at several of its natural gas compressor stations north of Denver.

At the heels of this, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has announced that Kerr-McGee has not only agreed to install pollution controls at its compressor stations, but to further reduce smog forming pollution in the Denver metro area.

The settlement is a boost for clean air in Denver and shows how citizen pressure can help spur the government to hold polluters accountable.
