Rocky Mountain Clean Air Action is working to reduce ozone pollution, also known as smog, in the Denver metro area. We are the only group dedicated to protecting clean air for healthy children and healthy communities in Colorado and the surrounding region, and are fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. 2006 has seen more ozone alerts than any year since 1999. A total of 48 alerts have been issued so far. Even 2003, one of the worst ozone years in recent history, only saw 42 alerts. A .pdf overview of ozone alerts is available online.
